Amphibious boardshorts
A graphic created for us by artist MHAK, with whom we have a close personal and professional relationship. He has provided works for renowned brands including LEVI'S, adidas, RVCA, THE NORTH FACE, Fender Japan, and Mercedes-Benz. For Flashpacker, we have mixed his signature "patterns" with our classic checkerboard flag design. The way his patterns weave through the checkers is both novel and fresh.
The shorts themselves are built with a tough construction capable of withstanding vigorous sports like surfing. Designed with town use in mind, they feature side pockets equipped with stretch-zipper closures, which prevent water and debris from entering the pockets. The material is a quick-drying stretch fabric that is supple and feels excellent against the skin.

Born in Aizu-Wakamatsu in 1981. Painter.
With a theme of making space and painting coexist, he uses a variety of techniques to paint the "patterns" he created himself on everything from canvases to massive murals. He has presented his work in various cities around the world, including in Japan, the United States, Australia, Italy, and Argentina. He is also actively involved in providing artwork for many brands, including LEVI'S, adidas, RVCA, and THE NORTH FACE.
